You will be covering Serengeti national park | Tarangire national park – the sixth largest national park in Tanzania famous for large herds of Elephants and big baobab trees, Tarangire national park is also a park with one of the largest concentrations of Elephants in Africa but also in a case if you choose Lake Manyar national park you will have high chance to see tree climbing lions as well as tree climbing pythons for the park is famous of, & The Ngorongoro famous for its caldera lakes and the crater itself with again large concentration of animals and of course it’s very possible here to see rare species of black rhino in the crater in just this 5 days Tanzania classic safari. You get the chance to also visit Mtowambu village on full day tour and enjoy walking or biking tour in the village and finish the tour with hot local lunch at local mamas’ place. The tour generally gives you the opportunity to see large herds of elephant, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, the big five animal group, as well as cheetah, incredible bird life and seeing the Tanzania local community and so much more.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International airport in Tanzania, meet and greet then transfer to Arusha city for an overnight stay, check in a hotel and our safari expert will brief you on
different aspects of your safari then overnight at Forest Hill Hotel or similar on a Bed and Breakfast basis depending on arrival time, in case of early arrival we can arrange
different meal plan.

Early morning after breakfast we will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha and we will head to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location, where up to 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds at it best visiting time during the dry season between July to October. Migratory wildebeest, zebra and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Here you will enjoy a full day game drive with a picnic lunch before being transferred to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain view safari lodge for you overnight stay and evening leisure until the
next day when you will be transferred to Serengeti national park for another day of a game drive

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful Karatu farmlands & beautiful landscapes of Ngorongoro conservation area Leaving the highlands behind, today you will get out of the safari jeep to enjoy the crater view on the crater rim if weather permits then proceed on a drive. Today you will descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch, enjoy your lunch at Naabi hill gate picnic site and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park and later be transferred to you accommodation within the park.

After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch for a final game drive in Serengeti national park. After lunch, we will drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater. As soon as you have reached the edge of the crater rim, the crater appears half a mile below, inviting you to gaze at this jaw dropping natural wonders. “Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19 kilometers wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo filled swamps and
open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest in the Ngorongoro area”. After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation. Area supports a vast variety of animals, which includes lions, zebras, flocks of flamingos, elephants, giraffes just to mention a few. Ngorongoro is often referred as the eighth natural wonder, it has been listed as a UNESCO site which is considered the most beautiful and unique place in Africa where man and wildlife stays together in one area, we will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. We will stop at a nice picnic area for our lunch break and there after you will be doing game drive while heading off the crater to Mto wa mbu Village ready for a full day cultural tour in this village.

The bustling farming community of Mto wa Mbu, located between Manyara and Ngorongoro, is home to more than 18,000 people. Spend full or half day here with a knowledgeable local guide and you’ll discover a side of Tanzania that many visitors miss. After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to a point in Mto wa Mbu village where you will meet with your local guide and heading to a point where you will pick bicycles and start a village walking/ biking tour, your guide is very likely to be from the village itself so you will have a unique opportunity to see the community through his eyes. Tours last around 3-4 hours, but are very flexible. During your visit you’ll get a good feel for the social side of the village, after hot local lunch at local mamas’ homes, you’ll be meet by your driver ready to transfer you back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro international airport to catch your flight back home or proceed with other schedules.
