Day 0 Arrival in Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International airport in Tanzania, meet and greet then transfer to Arusha city for an overnight stay, check in and our safari expert will visit you for safari briefing then overnight at or Tulia boutiques Hotel or similar on a Bed and Breakfast basis depending on arrival time, in case of early arrival we can arrange meal plan.

Day 1Arusha to Arusha national park

After breakfast, depart for a first day game drive to Arusha national park located 52kilometers away from the city which covers Mount Meru, a prominent volcano with an elevation of 4566 m, on arrival at the park, check-in and go for a walking safari in the park with the guide of an armed park ranger. The ranger will guide you through the rainforest to the sparkling waterfalls where you can possibly spot the colobus monkeys. Return from the nature walk and have lunch. After lunch board, the 4×4 safari vehicle for a game drive through the park trails. The game drive gives you an opportunity to see a large part of the park including places like the Momella lakes and Ngurdoto Crater. Some of the wildlife that can possibly be spotted on the game drive includes but not limited to the buffalos, waterbuck, giraffe, zebra, warthog, and gazelle, leopards and elephants can also be spotted in the park. Several bird species can also be seen during the nature walk and game drive in Arusha National Park. After the game drive, you will head back to Arusha city for evening rest and at your hotel until next day schedule.

Day 2 Arusha to Serengeti National Park (Game on route)

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful Karatu farmlands & beautiful landscapes of Ngorongoro conservation area Leaving the highlands behind, today you will get out of the safari jeep to enjoy the crater view on the crater rim if weather permits then proceed on a drive. Today you will descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch, enjoy your lunch at Naabi hill gate picnic site and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park and later be transferred to you accommodation within the park.

Day 3Full Day game drive in Serengeti National Park

In the morning After you have had breakfast, enjoy full day game drive around Serengeti national park allowing you to have unlimited views of what Serengeti can offer to you,
The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the dry season (June – November) as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest, and giraffe. Resident carnivores include lion and leopard. These months are also great to see the huge herds of Wildebeests mixed with zebra on a seasonal migratory in the Serengeti national
park.

Day 4:Serengeti National Park – Lamadi Mwanza

After breakfast start the day with a morning safari game drive in the Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch boxes where in the day time we will find a nice picnic site for our lunch break then proceed on a game drive and after lunch, we will drive in the direction of Mwanza to Lamadi village on the outskirts of western corridor of Serengeti national park where you will have an overnight stay in a beautiful safari lodge until next day where you will have a full day lake cruise around lake victoria.

Day 5Full day boat excursion at lake victoria in Lamadi - Mwanza

Today after breakfast, enjoy full day boat excursion around lake victoria. This day journey to the glorious shores of Lake Victoria promises a little bit of everything; from thrilling wildlife and sightseeing wonderments to fishing excursions and cultural insights, with a truly diverse range of exciting things to do, you have a full day, at your own leisure, to explore the world’s largest tropical freshwater lake and all it has to offer. Lake Victoria is one of the African Great Lakes, and the second largest lake in the world covering 68,800 km2. On arrival at Lake Victoria, adventures abound; try your hand at some fishing from a canoe or dhow, pay a visit to a local school, enjoy a great view of the incredible bird life along the lake shore or pay a visit traditional doctor, clap along to the daily rhythm of local life as villagers show-off their vibrant dance moves, or simply admire the magnificent
and lush landscape. Strolls along the lakeshores boasting unsurpassed views, this tour will also take you to a visit the local fish market in the area. After an eventful day of exploring, you will spend an overnight at Serenity hotel till next day when you will be transferred to Ngorongoro conservation area for an overnight stay.

Day 6 Mwanza to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast we head off on safari from Mwanza via Serengeti national park to Ngorongoro conservation area, as soon as you have reached the edge of the crater rim, the crater appears half a mile below, inviting you to gaze at this jaw dropping natural wonders. “Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19 kilometers wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo filled swamps and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest in the Ngorongoro area”. Day 7 Full day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation. Area supports a vast variety of animals, which includes lions, zebras, flocks of flamingos, elephants, giraffes just to mention a few. Ngorongoro is often referred as the eighth natural wonder, it has been listed as a UNESCO site which is considered the most beautiful and unique place in Africa where man and wildlife stays together in one area, we will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. We will stop at a nice picnic area for our lunch break and there after you will be doing game drive while heading off the crater to Mto wa mbu Village ready for a full day cultural tour in this village.

Day 8:Mtowambu to Tarangire National Park

Early morning after breakfast we will pick you up from your accommodation in Mtowambu and we will head to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location, where up to 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds at it best visiting time during the dry season between July to October. Migratory wildebeest, zebra and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch.

Day 9 Departure Day

Today after breakfast or after lunch depending on your flight time you will be transferred from the hotel to Mwanza international airport to catch your flight to Kilimanjaro or A flight back home.
