Itinerary

Day 1 Vlore - Dukat - Saint George Pass

Transfer by car from Vlora to Dukat, nestled in a valley small side road, the village of Dukat is the starting point for the first day. On the path of shepherds and an ancient trade route that connected the Bay of Vlora with the cities interior shopping, we climb the fir forest overlooking Adriatic, Qafa e Saint Gjergj (1145 m) for a panoramic view of the Valley of Shušica. The highest peaks such as Cika (2044m) and Qorre (2018m) do impress with their severity. Descent into the ancient oak forest on the way old caravan through the deserted village of Pirgu in Terbac. Day 2 Terbac - Vranisht - Kallarat

A more relaxed day in terms of physical activity, we will leave the village Terbaç to go to the village of Kallarat. Through the orchards and forests of the village of Vranisht is easily approached at the foot of the Cike mountain. Before we continue walking, we can enjoy drinks in the village cafe. A small path leads through the hill to Kallarat, from the last pass you can still see Saint George’s Pass as well the slopes of Bogonica to be climbed on the third day.

Day 3 Kallarat - Bogonica - Pilur

The longest and most challenging hike of the trip begins at the partisan monument, it leads first to the ruined village, destroyed by the Greeks in World War I, and after a long climb further in a series flat meadows hidden on the side of the mountain. .
